Your Credit Score

A credit score is a number that third parties, especially lenders, use to assess the risk of lending you money.

Find out more below

The score is one way banks, credit card companies and other institutions assess the likelihood that you can or will be able to pay off any debts you accumulate

Lenders generally use their own system to work out your Credit Score based on the information in your Credit Report and they often check your information at more than one Credit Reference Agency.

Here at KC Mortgages we recommend  Checkmyfile Credit Score as it is based on all of the Credit Report information from Equifax, Experian, TransUnion and Crediva to help you better understand how you are likely to be assessed when applying for credit.
